Board Certification is a voluntary designation program for attorneys. The process to become Board Certified is rigorous and requires a significant investment by the attorney of time and effort. To remain certified, an attorney must apply for recertification every five years and meet substantial involvement, peer review and continuing legal education requirements for the specialty area.
Carolyn graduated from The University of Texas at Austin, with a degree in marketing, and thereafter received her law degree from The University of Houston. Carolyn has been licensed to practice law in Texas since 1993 and has represented Clients in more than 1,500 family law cases.
